CHERY Cars

Chery is a successful and independent car brand manufactured and produced in China. In 1997, five local investment companies in Anhui Province, China, founded the Chery Automobile Co, Ltd after investing an amount of R3.2 Billion. Their first car was created in December 1999 and their millionth was created in August 2007.

 

Due to their independence, their interest in research and development of vehicles, engines and components, the company is now the leader in China with regards to research and development and export of this independently branded and produced car. This has led the way for even more development and greater competition in the car-manufacturing and selling market. The ambition for a successful and independent Chinese motor brand has cause Chery to focus on customer satisfaction through the production of products without defects and accompanied by excellent service.

 

All Chery cars produced and manufactured are required to conform to stringent safety standars, both nationally and internationally.  These efforts led them to In early 2003, their dedication to manufacturing and service excellence allowed the Chery brand to obtain the ISO9001 International Quality System Certification. Chery also achieved the ISO/TS16949 Quality Management System Certification from Germany TUV in 2002. Another milestone in their strict quality control was when the Ministry of Personnel and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Guarantee of PRC awarded them the Advanced Collective of National Quality Work. The authoritative Ministry of China also awarded them the Chinese 21315 Quality & Credit Level AAA Enterprise.

 

Chery base all their car production on the Chery policy of “consumer service and satisfaction, innovative engineering design and manufacturing quality.”  Their research and development teams, transmission plants, manufacturing plants, design institute and institute dedicated to automotive engineering research keeps Chery a global competitor in the car industry.
