What is Adcover?

Adcover, from Regent Insurance Company Limited, has been designed as your rescue plan at times when your comprehensive policy does not respond and you are still responsible to your bank for outstanding finance.

What are the benefits?

Your claim has been repudiated due to breach of policy conditions: if, it unintentionally slips your memory and you forget to pay a single monthly comprehensive premium in consequence of which your claim for damages is repudiated. Late notification: If, you unintentionally fail to comply with certain formal requirements, such as notifying your comprehensive insurers within 30 days of the damage and they repudiate your claim; the Adcover will pay. Shortfall Cover: Should your car be damaged beyond repair and written off and the payment by your comprehensive insurer is not sufficient to settle the outstanding balance to the finance house that financed your vehicle, the Adcover will pay this shortfall, including an excess on the underlying claim to a maximum amount of R2, 000-00.

Optional extensions which can be included at a nominal additional premium are:

Deposit Cover - insuring your deposit in the event of your vehicle being stolen or written off.

Vehicle Asset Protector - added shortfall protection.

Bodyline Protector - small dent and scratch insurance.

What is deposit cover?

Instead of comprehensive motor insurance you have the option of taking deposit cover from Regent Insurance Company Limited.

What are the benefits?

With deposit cover, if your vehicle is stolen, 10% of the value of the vehicle will be paid back to you. This money will cover the deposit required to purchase a new vehicle.

What is Credit Life cover?

This is an additional policy from Regent Insurance Company Limited that provides you with cover on the debt owing to cars if you pass away, suffer permanent disability or suffer from a dread disease. It will also assist with your payments if you are retrenched or temporarily disabled. Maximum age for this policy is 60 years (age at next birthday).

What is a service plan?

A service plan is designed to offer you a convenient way to budget for all your servicing needs. It covers all your servicing costs, including labour and specific parts. This means you’ll spend less time worrying about costs and more time enjoying the open road.
